Understand your month

Your reading, usual spending, forecasts and incomplete months.

A sentence to help you see where you stand

The reading at the top summarises your recorded activity and may describe your pace compared with normal. Tap it to explore spending, the usual reference and categories, then open the full report or ask a question.

The comparison uses the available history from recent months. When you are new or there is too little data, Papirer shows your figures without a reliable comparison. An empty month does not prove you spent nothing.

Recorded and still to come

Saved entries are recorded facts. The forecast estimates how the month could end at your current pace, including upcoming recurring entries. With income tracking, it can also show a possible surplus or shortfall. It changes as you add or correct entries.

Adding money to a jar is not spending. Payments linked to jars are treated separately in your pace so money you set aside is not counted again as everyday spending. The actual purchase stays visible in your entries.

A month with gaps

If a month does not include all your spending, open its options and mark it as incomplete. Its entries stay, but it is excluded from averages and comparisons. Include it again when it is ready.

This can explain a missing comparison or an incomplete-record warning on a goal. Check the period, filters and included months before interpreting a difference.

Reports and the weekly brief

Open Menu → Reports for categories, periods, trends and exports. The AI weekly report is a Pro feature and needs recorded activity to be useful. Manage its notifications and email delivery in notification settings.
