Make new entries sound like you
After similar name corrections, Papirer may offer to remember your style, such as using only the merchant's name. The suggestion waits for your approval. You can accept or decline.
Open Menu → Memory to see pending suggestions and saved context. You do not need Pro.
Your style and who is who
In the naming-style section, write or change your preference. It applies to new entries and does not rename your entire history.
In the people-and-places section, add a name and what it means to you, such as “Ana, babysitter”. This gives Papirer context when you mention it. You can store up to 50 people and places; forget one to add another at the limit.
Edit or forget
Open an item to correct it or choose Forget. Removing a memory takes away that context for future entries without deleting past entries. Memory is removed when you delete your account.
A naming preference and a category rule have different purposes. To always put a merchant in a particular category, explicitly ask the assistant and review its proposal. Check results when names are similar or details are ambiguous, even with saved context.
